Red-legged Honeycreeper

Red-Legged Honeycreeper. Yep, another bird that I didn't know existed before I landed in the Panamanian rainforest for the first time 40 (!!) years ago. What a crazy bird! Those legs really are a glowing orangey-red and the light blue on top is iridescent in the sun. It's as though someone made up this bird.

This one is also 8in x 8in.
